: less than ½ mile car drive off of hwy 89 right on the border between Arizona
and Utah
What? :
At Lake Powell visit you can find the Lone Rock beach.
It is
nice sandy beach with interesting huge rock formation in the middle of water at
the west arm of Lake Powell. You can also visit the nearby large Marina.
My
thoughts: Nice stop on the way, enjoy the lake and the send, very nice rock
formation rising out from the water. Can be crowded at the summer with RV and
campers. At winter we had the place to ourselves.
