Where? : The trail Start at: Dale Avenue & Heatherstone Way, Mountain View (at the Sunnyvale side of hwy 85)
Deu note: the trail can be noisy because it is going along highway 85
By using this trail you can reach from Sunnyvale or Mountain-View all the way to the Bay waterfront trail system near NASA Ames and from there you can have additional West or East trails access.
The visit:
I really like this trail because I can start on my bike right from home and ride 3 miles to the trail starting point.
You can go with bikes from Sunnyvale all the way to
Milpitas, San Jose downtown in the east or west to East-Palo-Alto (near Facebook headquarter) without crossing any roads !
At the waterfront
you have many birdwatching opportunities.
